The first step will be to meet together on the job site to discuss the scope of the project, budget considerations, take photographs of the existing space, review special needs (children, pets, heavy commercial use, etc.) We’ll discuss the purpose of the space to ensure the psychology of color works for your own needs and has the impact you desire. |

During this intake process, we will evaluate which existing architectural elements will remain such as the roof, fireplace, certain furniture, etc. For an interior project, we’ll review your lighting source (warm or cool), and also note how the time of day will affect your color choices. For an exterior project we will take into consideration how color selection will harmonize with surrounding homes and businesses and how the cool sky will affect your final result. There is a tremendous amount of interplay at work in choosing the right color, and this “homework” will help ensure successful choices. |
